About Boulder Culinary Gardeners
Boulder Culinary Gardeners is a group of local gardeners and farmers interested in growing food and creating a community dedicated to education about our passion. We are not political or commercial, but we do want to provide support to other gardeners who strive for organic, healthy and sustainable gardens. We will reach out to gardeners who hope to garden without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.
We share our knowledge and our experiences with everything from coaxing seedlings to life, nurturing early plants in greenhouses, encouraging lush production and preserving the harvest.
The group has proven so popular that we have begun a second group (BCG2). This is necessary because we meet inside members' homes during the winter months. Beginning in October, BCG and BCG2 will hold separate meetings. In the summer months, when your meetings are held in members' gardens, the two groups will meet together. In addition, the two groups will join for BCG classes and seed orders. If you would like to join BCG2, please contact us with your name, address and phone number.
| "To own a bit of ground, to scratch it with a hoe, to plant seeds, and watch the renewal of life — this is the commonest delight of the race, the most satisfactory thing a man can do."
Charles Dudley Warner
